Is there any chance that the 348 and F355 propeller shafts share similar dimensions?

If not, does anyone have the dimensions?

That was about as useful as a used tampon. Thanks.

So I know now that they are not the same...

Maybe there is a problem with the terminology - by prop shafts do you mean drive shafts?

I should have added that IF you mean drive shafts (which I should have called axle shafts) the 355 ones (P/N 165071 which replaced 152724) are different to the 348 ones (P/N 139513)

Ferrari part number 162909 (F355) and 136899 (348), I should have specified that in the original post!
It connects the engine to the clutch assembly and I really need the dimensions if possible.

Especially if 136899 has the same spline count and/or is of similar or larger diameter.

    Mark,
I don't have an input shaft, but I have a 348 and 355 crank here. Both of them have the same spline count and ID.
I could measure them but I can't dig them out until this weekend.

Hopefully I will have mine out tonight. As long as I can figure out the over all length within a reasonable range, I should be ok. It's good to know that the crank side and came side appear to have the same spline count. Please let me know if they are the same ID, provided it's not too much trouble.

They are different parts but the ODs are probably the same and could be used in replacement of each other. The 355 version looks stronger but if the metallurgy is deficient then the looks are irrelevant. The right side one is the 355 version.
