I've had this Dino for several years but I simply haven't driven this car all summer and I'm thinking about selling. That beauty is hard to replicate, not sure if I would find something else to fill the spot. Is this a mistake? Anyone else regret selling? I find myself avoiding actually taking steps to put her on the market. Original colors: Rosso Rubino Metallic over Tan. Interior restored by Jon Gunderson (OMGJon) in California.

It's just a car. I'm thinking of selling mine soon as well. Nothing is forever.

Exactly. I have no regrets selling mine. I enjoyed it while I had it and checked that box, and will always have the ownership experience. Priorities change, life changes, everything is temporary.

There are few cars that can rival the dino for beauty and this one looks perfect! Could this part of the reason you haven't been driving it as much? Personally, I'd be a bit apprehensive to comfortably enjoy a car this pristine...

Not every one feels the same as you gentlemen. To some, it is more than just a car. But I certainly respect your opinions. And I respectfully disagree.

I sold mine back in the late 90's. I don't regret it a bit. Let someone else have a chance.

    Nice.

When I sold my car to UroTrash, I had no regrets. Still don't.

    Do what makes you happy.

Your Dino is beautiful! Only you truly know if it's time to move on. I sold a speedster once and regretted it so much, I finally bought another. It was a expensive lesson.
It have a beautiful Dino as well, but it took almost to years to find it. If you sell yours, it would be both expensive and hard to replace.
    Best luck -

I considered selling mine a few years back.

    And I'm SO glad I didn't.

There is NO other car that looks, sounds, and drives like a Dino.

To me it's a keeper, but if you no longer enjoy it, move on.

And I agree with nis1973-- I would feel nervous driving a car that perfect. I restored then sold a TR6 for that reason.

If you no longer drive it,then probably best to sell. But as has been said go for a good long drive but only keep if you will drive it more.

I keep returning to look at the color. Amazing. I'd say root beer metalflake but that would date me...LOL

    It's flat out gorgeous.

People collect paintings that they just keep on their walls. Even if I no longer drove, I would have a hard time selling the Dino. It is so beautiful. I get so much pleasure just seeing it.

Change is almost always good. For most of us, you need to sell something to buy the next thing. Many times we only get one chance at these things. Ask the enthusiast who "once" owned a 250SWB, a Lusso or Daytona when they were affordable and sold it for "all the money"! Life is a game of musical chairs. Hopefully when the music stops, you still have a chair. Many sell or trade for something newer. Mostly it's to try a different experience. Most of us only have so much we can afford on these things and are limited to the space we have to store them. As enthusiasts, to end up with the cars that give us pleasure and feed our passion is our quest.

Good luck with what you ultimately decide.

That looks like the car Leigh Garrett drove on Chips. First time I think I ever saw a Dino.

In my case, if I had the space and could afford to keep the Dino, I probably would, even if I could no longer drive frequently. Just seeing it in the garage brings such joy to me.
