Any one put tints on a black FF? Also does anybody further tint their Pano roof? I am looking to keep more heat out. Waiting for delivery in a week:)

Don't tint the Pano roof...it'll break the glass.

I was told the same for wife's Benz, which has pano roof. There is a black FF that I've seen that is totally blacked out: wheels, tint, exterior color. I peeked through window once, and it was yellow contrast stitching inside, or so it looked to me. The calipers are yellow, really pops with the yellow shields. It was a nice look, if you're into that sort of thing (and I am!)...T

Why would the pano roof break if I tint it?? Sorry if it is a stupid question.

The Pano is thick and tinted glass as stock.

Why would you want it darker? And why would film break it?

I haven't picked up my FF yet but I'm assuming there will be some heat? Does anyone know if there is uv protection? Also how do you guys like the pano roof? Passangers like it?

I'm pretty sure the glass would have UV filtering, most automotive glass does.

As far as tinting it = breaking the glass... I'm not sure if the roof panel would be the same as the windshield / rear glass/ but on some cars those parts are under a fair amount of stress. If thats true, then this concept might have some merit. I'd ask the pros and see what comes back.

Probably the best move is to get the car and see what you think.

    Congratulations on the new ride!

Thank you, I am excited to get my new FF. Its black on black so the dark tint will make it a dark knight:)
I will be doing full all around tint. Clear tint on the front windshield to protect leather and let in even less heat. Excited for the pano roof, I think its very unique thing to have but worried about day in a day out use in the sun. Hopefully it works very well.

Congratulations! It will look amazing and will be an extreme pleasure to drive. Does this also mean you have a slot for the next 488 lightweight version? Haha

I cannot say if I will or not get a slot for a lightweight 488 :) I like the FF much better than the new lusso. Will lose a bunch on it but will enjoy it for next 4-6 years. I just drove my 458 on a 400mile road trip. Love ferraris.
