That was embarrassing. I had to cancel so many bookings and warn customers about the pending "storm" and not even a hint of a storm ever came. Sunday was beautiful.
That's classic. The $h!t would have really hit had they said little to nothing. Always seems that way.
Has it been open all this time? It was there in the 80's. All the ones on the Mainland closed but Hawaii was a franchise. They started opening up again on the Mainland 3 -4 years ago and we now have 2 - 3 in the LA area.
Yeah, I took my youngest son there recently. I wasn't aware it was closing. Btw, the slowest tram in the world is that one that runs between Uptown and Downtown. The snails in my yard are faster.
Thanks! Will be a brief stay but looking forward to it. Few places I'm more excited to visit than Hawaii!
Had dinner at the Side Street Inn. Haven't eaten there in several months. Was definitely good food and now I have food left over for breakfast. Have a 0900 pickup for the flight to NRT tomorrow.
This year has been so windy. Last years' el nino cut off our trades, hotter than normal but the surf was smooth. This year with la nina, wetter and the wind has just killed so many breaks. Hopefully we get back to normal next year....whateva that is right.
