This guy seems a habitual offender. He is able to persist because few are willing to deal with them in the manner they deserve.
It needs to be in his own personal best interest to make good on this deal. Laws are unlikely to compel this one.
    Good luck.

There should be a "WARNING" thread on Fchat, where we can quickly reference bad actors in the industry. This guy....complete w*nker, as we say in the UK. Sorry you had to go through this.

From his terms and conditions on the website:

A RE-STOCKING FEE of 35% is charged on all returning items.

All products returned must be shipped back within 48 hours from when received!

Returned products must be in exact untouched, undamaged, untampered condition as when they left our warehouse. Any tampered or damaged products returned will be shipped back to buyer at the buyers cost!

Wow. Even if he accepts a return 35% restocking fee is pretty hefty.

You know what - I'd have accepted a 35% restocking fee just to get something back!

How do you go on about returning a set of Challenge Stradale clocks that you never actually received? And what about a Challenge rear grille? I wonder how he calculates 35% of that?

At least there is no danger of shipping damage on a non existant item....

Well shock horror I got ALL my money back. Apparently his business has been ruined by my post. Lots of threats and anger but stood my ground. 1500 came back first with the rest held for ransom until thread removed. I refused his offer. A week later I was refunded in full. It took 6 months. He takes money without having the parts and looks to source them. Clearly it doesn't always work out that he can get them. He just hangs on to the money until he does I think. Is it Fraud? Well I got my money back so no not in my case. Would I have got it back without Ferrari Chat and the thread. Probably not. I may have got an undertray a year later. I promised I would post details of the refund and this is it. He was honest with me so maybe copy my lead.

I did get hold of the husband of a friend in his district Guardia Di Finanza. He said it takes a while to do anything legally but if I were to "visit" him then they would not be interested in the event at all. Interesting standpoint.

Good luck with your refunds. In the mean time try Astone Ferrari in Birmingham. Nick is a great guy. Or Eurospares. I deal with them a lot as I now have 3 classic part gobblers.

Many thanks Ferrari Chat. Good luck members. And for Mr Vetrano be very careful who you practice dodgy business practices on. Some of us are more clever than you and a lot meaner and vindictive. I have fulfilled my part of the deal. I hope you keep on genuinely supplying parts. You don't have to cheat or lie or use unusual tactics. The market is there. Be clever and honest and you will do a lot better.

    Sean.

You were luckier than I was. I went through the same bullying routine and then the offer that materials would be sent. They never were. I am still trying to get my 3800 euros back, it has been four months now..

Sad story of 365gt parts.. Ordered in april, paid in advance, lots of correspondence.
I think he akes the money, tries to find the parts. In my case, the parts were supposed to come from Australia, and then there were delays.
I am not giving up yet, it is amazing that within Europe we cannot get justice enforced from outside Italy.
His website is still up, so people are probably still falling in the trap. I wonder if the website at least could be taken down?
Maybe a general post to all Ferrari owner's clubs around the world?

    Orlando,
I am now back from holiday, all relaxed.
What are you going to do?
Five months ago I paid you 3800 euros, you never sent parts, and I sent a lot of emails, text messages, and telephone attempts.
I notice that your website is still up. This suggests that you are still in business.
Please inform if you will supply the parts or refund the money. If you choose to refund, please do so quickly. It is becoming very embarrassing.
    Best regards,
    Henk de Vries

I've been looking for a working speedometer for my Boxer for some time. I found the La Scuderia Rossa website, sent an email and was told by Orlando that he had a new one in stock..."only" 2895 Euros w/ shipping. The funds were to be transferred immediately to his bank account in Italy.

I decided to check the forum on past performance and all I can say is Thank You Very Much!
The forum just saved me about $3250!

If anyone out there has either a NOS or a used Euro Boxer speedometer in working condition, please let me know. My speedo has been sent out several times for repairs, but consistently reads high vs. radar traps! If you have one or a lead on one, I'd greatly appreciate hearing from you...Dr. John

    John,

Both my 550 and F355 Challenge speedometers read high compared to GPS and radar, about 7 MPH higher in the 60 -70 MPH range. I think that's routine with Ferrari speedometers.

Barry...I never had that problem with my speedo before it started "wavering" and then died. Think that I'll send it out to Palo Alto one more time to see if they can adjust it...John

I just visited the website Lascuderiarossa and it looks like he is still in business. The last month, I have sent various emails, and tried his phone number which is disconnected. I have given up to get my money back. My lawyer tells me it will cost a lot more than my cost to reach justice in Italy. I find that incomprehensible: at least his webserver should be able to close the website down?

Has anyone dealt with this company? I found them on the web, www.lascuderiarossa.com, and they indicate they have access to some really hard to find Ferrari parts. BBi parts in particular for me.

I'm a little suspicious because they're in Italy and don't use PayPal, or credit card forms of payment. The main guy wants funds in Euro's wired to his personal account. The contact guys name is Orlando Verano.

    Any info would be appreciated.
