Here is the rather comical emergency light that came with 355's and often brings $250 in the used market Image Unavailable, Please Login
Original should be like this:Bellow 97 UK Berlinetta could be diferent with other models?! Image Unavailable, Please Login
The pouch you have is incorrect for the 355..Pouch should not have maglite holder or straps to hold books and no maglite..came with the plug in light
Agreed. I'm not going to claim absolute on this, but my '98 UK 355F1's book pouch doesn't look much like that either, despite having every original book, pamphlet, instruction manual etc. And the light I have is a hilariously dodgy looking thing with a chord which I've only ever plugged in once or twice (it does work, though). And it comes in its own crappy black pouch, not within the actual book pouch as pictured above. My guess is that pouch is from a later model Ferrari, and the dealer has tried to pass it off as "original".
Thats interesting to discover, but seams strange as the other F355 (i didn't buy) had the same setup! It came with the car from the PO so I wouldn't pass blame on the dealer just yet! I also have the Cigaret lighter torch in the black pouch as dave posted above, It works well but Ive put that (and the books with Maglight) In the "safe place" Would be interested to see what others have?
My 98 manual does not have loops for the flashlight. I bought the car from second owner with under 10K miles. I believe 360's where the start of the mag light as Robb made mention.
If a dealer had one just like that it is not the original pouch as well... Let me ask do you even have the real original books with your car (true Vin# on warrant book)?..I have seen 355 books for sale in USA with same pouch, but I know it did not come with the car ..I have had 355s since they were new cars..
Seconded. My books are verified as originals that came with the car ('98 US version, F1 GTS) and there is no mag light holder or snaps in the pouch.
