    http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/ferraris/532324-thinking-selling-my-vetro.html

Posted elsewhere I know, but just thought I'd start a dedicated thread here rather than have it in a subsection, hope that's ok.

I've found another classic I'd like to buy so thinking of selling my rhd UK Vetro to fund it. Thought I'd mention it here on the forum as this is where I found it and regular viewers to this thread will I'm sure recognise it.

If you go to my profile there is a small album of pictures to give you an idea of the car, it has to be one of the best in the UK and has recently been granted it's Classiche certification.

The past 4 years in my ownership has been spent getting it into the condition you see it in now. Just to mention the full head rebuild to replace the original sodium valves and weber carb rebuild so mechanically it runs perfectly. It's also had a full suspension rebuild with all new bushes and a geometry set up which means it handles as good as it left the factory, not a rattle or squeak anywhere. Finally I've had the paintwork and interior brought up to show standard so it looks fabulous.

I think I'm being very realistic in asking £150,000 for it, which reflects the current Ferrari market, down on what it was last year. If anyone is seriously interested please pm me or email to [email protected] and just to say I won't be placing it with anyone for a commission sale.

    Thanks for looking, Mike

Thanks for the best wishes by the way and in answer to a couple of questions it's a 1976 rhd UK car, chassis number 19333 and has done 38,600 miles.

Another gratuitous picture from the album in my MikeRSR profile, think this one shows off the 14" wheels and XWX Michelins well!

I've been away for a while but just wanted to update and respond to a couple of questions.

The Vetro has a very comprehensive history file over it's 40 year life including it's original order paperwork through Maranello in Egham in December 1976 and the build confirmation from Modena. Delivered to the UK in May 1976. It also comes complete with it's original owners manual, service book and wallet.

It has both it's tool roll and jack bag, and it's 308 registration plate will stay with the car.

Here's a more unusual angled pic of the car from my user name profile album, looking from the rear really shows off the Vetroresina's unique yellow indicator lenses, lights in the rear bumper and the single outlet exhaust.

    Thanks for looking!
