Thank you Steve and the rest of the Long Island FCA on a fantastic event. I think we need bigger space. Great turn out.

What a day it was indeed!!! Thanks for all the kind words. I want to thank all the guys who helped out to make it such a success. We had over 60 Ferraris. The highlight for me was the 2003 Enzo which is my all time favorite Ferrari. Thanks to my friend and fellow FCA member Mike (bball16) for attending most of the Great Marques meetings to get this thing off the ground. Major props to my new best friend, Michael Berman of Yellow Compass Group who sponsored us and came through big time by providing the food and drinks for all the participants. Also a big thank you to Ferrari of Long Island for their generous support.

Congratulations to Stephen (tortesq1) for winning Best of Show with his 2011 599 GTO. Thanks for brining it.

Here is a video from yesterday. Maybe it will get more Fchatters to participate next year. That's to all the FCA members who came out in full force! Thanks to all my fellow LIFE guys for helping out as well.

The FCA Concours was a fabulous event. There were an amazing number of Ferraris (not to mention all of the Porsches, BMWs and Mercedes in the adjoining areas), and everyone had a wonderful time. Thank you to Steve, Mike, Andy, Matt and all of the others who worked so hard to create this inaugural event such a success.

    Haha!! Thanks Mike. Great job.
Yes indeed, they did have a lot of patience. But as I said to them, it was a great place to be "stuck"! The view we had was fabulous, in all directions. :)

    Hi Steve..

I am sure you know who's car this is..
I have had a few chairs and flairs dinos and know them very well.
Maybe you could get a message to him, I think he took best in class.
I am such a stickler for perfection, I noticed it at show but didnt know who owned it..
Both of his inboard tail lamps are not centered square with the box grain imbedded into the inner side of the lens..they need to be rotated to a horizontal plane..
His outside lenses are fine.He can just loosen the 4 nuts on the trim ring and rotate the lens.
Tell him this was my fav car at show.

    Take a look.

What a great event!! A big thanks to Steve Morea for organizing and putting it together, to Mike Bass for all the help and support, and finally to all FCA and L.I.F.E members who participated and made this happen. Also, a big thanks to all the judges who volunteered, especially Matt Ligotti from Northeast Italian Car Club. Great cars, great show and great people. Looking forward to next year.

Somehow I forgot to mention the most important person who helped out the most with this concours. Matt Ligotti of Northeast Italian Car Club. Without him, this would not have been possible. His knowledge on how to have these type of shows combined with his knowledge of Ferraris and support with judging, was unsurpassed. Please like his page on Facebook and check out his events.

    Thank you again Matt!!

I think it was a guy hired by the BMW club. They said they will share the video with the other three Marques. Once I get it I will send to you and post.

What an amazing day it was. From a simple idea back in October of last year to a phenomenal success this past Sunday. None of which would have happened without the great efforts of Steve and Mike and the work of our fellow LIFE members on the day of the show.

So many outstanding cars on display and some truly special ones like the all original 275 GTB to the restored 330 to the Enzo and our best in show GTO.

Thank you to the judges for taking the time to be with us and lend their expertise and all the sponsors with which none of this would be possible.

Not a bad start for our first time out. We look forward to many more in the future. Now we have some experience and maybe in the future more participation and support from the FChat community.

Please contact me to send any pictures that you have. I will be using my pictures and others to put together a photobook of the day and try to capture the spirit of the new Long Island Ferrari Concours. I'll let you all know when it is finished.

Thank you! If nostalgia ever gets to you, PM me - we'll go for a drive: it's way more fun than just looking at it :)
