Anybody have any information on this event? Is the FCA getting a block of rooms? Any special package deals? Scott
The organizers are Ferrari SpA and FNA. They have not settled on all the arrangements. The FCA and FNA are continuing to work together to settle some of the things. You may also want to stay in touch with your Ferrari dealer, especially if they participate in the Ferrari Challenge series.
Looking forward to this event. Too bad it conflicts with the HSR race at Sebring the same weekend. Maybe will go by Sebring on the way back south. Scott
Ferrari flew over an F1 car to Daytona a couple of weeks ago to test it. They were testing it for the World Finals. Ferrari was very concerned about the tire temperatures generated from the downforce. I heard everything went well. It would be a shame to blow out the right rear during the show.
The BBLMs had that problem when they first ran the 24Hr at Daytona. Had to withdraw all the cars before the race as they were committed to the one tire sponsor.
Any word on hotel rooms for FCA members? I can't believe there aren't more details out there. This is supposed to be one of the biggest Ferrari events to ever come to the U.S. Scott
Should anyone see a schedule of events by the day for this event please feel free to post. Looking forward to it. Thanks, Bill FL
It's fairly disturbing that no details are known six weeks out. Can't see them getting a world record number of Ferraris on the track with such short notice. Personally I have been holding off making plans for winter storage, maintenance, and upgrades pending knowing whether I might take my car to FL in early December...
So would I, but advance planning never seems to be FNA's strong suit. For the last few years, the FNA VIP package for the Rolex 24 was only announced a few weeks before the date. I'm going either way, but if FCA or FNA is putting a deal together, let me know!
I am going and I booked everything on my own. I have my airfare, hotel, rental car all ready. I belong to the Scuderia club of philadelphia and I understand if you are a member of any of the clubs your admission is free.

FCA Palm Beach Chapter reserved a block of rooms they made available for just their chapter members. Haven't heard of anybody else doing anything. Scott
Indeed, at last year's Ferrari Days in NOLA the final schedule wasn't available until the week of the event.
Got an email from Ferrari this morning with package detail. (Two months ahead of time. Might be a record. ) If you don't get an email through your local dealer, go to ferrariusevents.com for details. See everyone there!
Dominic, we are also coming to the event. We will be about 10 guys from the Scuderia club Montreal and FCA Quebec. We'll be in a big red Ferrari bus, please come say hi if you see us. Looking forward to this event!
