It looks like you had a great turnout Sunday! Congrats to those who labored to bring this event to fruition.

It's funny because it started as an idea. However, we all know that a lot of people have ideas but only a few spend the time and energy to execute them. Full credit to Steve and Mike for making this event a reality and it didn't stay just an idea.

Thanks. It really was. I felt like a kid in a candy store that day.
If we have another one next year, we really need the Fchat community step up and bring their Ferraris to the show. How we had zero 355's to be judged and only two 360's judged is beyond me. There are tons on LI. 430's and 458's came out in force thankfully.

FWIW, you might coordinate next year with the Stony Brook University Italian Car Concourso. They held their annual event on the same day. IIRC, among many other Ferraris, there was a 360 Spyder and a 355 Spyder at that event Sunday. If one of the two events slips by one week there would be a much higher turnout as long as all owners are aware of the two events.

Yes. Unfortunately the Great Marques Concours date was set way before the Stony Brook show. We started meetings back in Jan 2016. I saw the date was the same when Josephine announced it here on Fchat and I saw her personally and apologized. I really like that show too but it is what is is. Plus I don't know how many Fcars we really lost to that show.
The turnout of Ferraris was better than I ever expected with close to 65 not including Yellow Compass Ferraris for sale. I know there was a 355 but it was display only. Some other 360's came later and they were display only as well. I was just in a bit of disbelief we didn't have a 355 class. They are such beautiful cars and there are some really great ones in the local areas.
If we do next year maybe word will get around on how successful this one was and Ferraris will come out in droves and we will have many more classes.

Yes its tough to know if there would be a 1:1 gain. From a purely numbers perspective, the Stony Brook Concourso had ~20% of the 65 cars that turned out at Westbury. A nice net add for next year if it could be achieved. That said, 65 cars was remarkable!
