I think just some tints for now, black out the emblems maybe? The car came with sport exhaust which the dealer told me it sounds better?? Either way it's amazing, actually prefer the v12 sound to v8 458.

Congratulations. Surprisingly, a lot of younger car guys and racers really like the FF.

    The V12's sound amazing.

Thank you all, I think my battery is running low and today in the hand car wash I turned on the car and it said "System unavailable." I drove around for 10 mins and restarted the car and it was fine. These batteries in Ferraris are terrible, had tons of issues with 458 battery which I eventually replaced and now running flawless. I think the dealers just keep recharging them and they eventually go dead sooner. I just put the car on tender and its only at level 3 which means its recharging.

Congrats on the beauty! I'm looking to add an FF to the stable, roughly what kind of discount did you get? Thanks

What is your opinion between the 458 and the ff.

I drove both of them back to back. 458 is an animal, lightweight, aggressive, less comfortable and more in tune with the driver. It sounds angry in race mode and I love the violent shifts. The FF is much more refined, the interior is amazing, it just feels like an awesome place you would sit all day and enjoy, very special. Comfort mode feels like a sporty bmw with much better handling and much better steering, almost better in every category. The V12 sound is amazing, it sounds good at every RPM, just beautiful. When you turn it on to Sport mode you really feel the true Ferrari DNA, everything is just so much better and the V12 really comes alive. It feels like a v12 458 almost, truly amazing.

At the end of the day they are different cars with the same Ferrari blood through their veins. The 458 is much more exciting to me, it doesn't like being driven slow, it wants you to be violent with it. The FF is a gentlemens car for sure, but I can drive it everyday and v12 sound is out of this world. 800 miles so far in 3 days!!

CrazyMD ( FF battery thread ) replaced the battery in his FF about 8 months back with a Sears Die Hard EP-49... an excellent spec deep cycle AGM battery that exceeds OEM supplied battery in all specs ... currently advertised for approx. $150.00 no reason to pay hundreds more for an inferior starting battery at a Fcar dealer...

I put it on the tender and overnight it reached level 7, seems ok now, the new ferrari chargers/tenders are a level up from a couple of years ago. I am going to do quite a bit of city driving so the battery will need to stay tendered for regular use. My dealer informed me the FF battery is quite larger than in 458 so hopefully this should be a great thing.

Why would city driving be a problem for the FF and its battery?

If I to choose one it would be the 458, it's one of the all time greats. There's something about it. FF is also special and hopefully I can keep it for 5-6yrs. All ferraris are great, matter of preference. I'm lucky to own 2. Highly recommend to get the FF if you are just starting out though, easily to live with and you will drive it more.
