Funny you say that, my wife asked if we could stay there this trip - been staying at four seasons for the last 7 years and they keep 2 spaces next to each other empty for me (of course I have to pay for both) and I park myself - the location is amazing

No chance anyone washes any of my cars but myself!! Even with the PPF I have on all of them, I wash every single one including fiat 500, MB G500, and Land Cruiser :)

That's the right decision - As Doc Brown said in Huey Lewis and the News '85 music video Power of Love "Don't touch anything till I'll be back" 😉

Had a car wash in Monaco to clean of the bugs....I can tell you it was the car with the most swirls on earth after that. I do it on my own and the paint is in top notch condition.

Have to try the four seasons next time!

Ha ha...last from the past - I'm getting old...
Four seasons looks excellent. If you wanna drive some beautiful roads go on to portofino and take your wife for a romantic dinner on the beach.

I'll be abroad this Saturday - but I wish all of you a pleasant end-of-season ride, either in the Schwarzwald, or in the Swiss Alps!
Looking forward to meeting you all in 2017...

I have used these guys in the past, and they do a good job:
    https://www.facebook.com/swisscarspa.zh/

They come to you and clean the car by hand and are eco friendly. I have them do it in the parking lot where I work. Price is very reasonable, well below CHF 100.00.

They offered to take the car for a day and do the whole clay thing, removing all the "swirls" in the paint work and detail the leather with whatever products I choose, est cost just over CHF 1K. Still on the bench on that one - but having someone show up at your place of choice and spend two hours cleaning your car for less than CHF 100.00 is a pretty good deal.

For anyone in the Suisse Romande area, the large Coop shopping center just outside Lausanne, near Bussigny, has a hand wash station in the underground parking.

I've seen the guy work and he seems to be quite throughout. Services range depending on car type, but a full service is just under 200chf from what I recall... It's around 50-80 chf if you do just the interior or just the exterior.

I don't think they do paint polishing.

    Nooooooooooooooo. Too bad.

As I told some of you, my mechanic crashed my (old) 575M in a very similar way. The car looked better than this special after the crash but the bill to repair the car would have been CHF 118 000.

For reference I copied the pic of the Speciale crash below.

And for those who want to see the pics of my crashed car and read my old story…: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/456-550-575-sponsored-bradan/353855-sad-day-me-my-575m.html

Great pictures Markus, but you are forgetting one picture!

Every track day has to have an accident, and luckily ours was a minor one :)

The Alfa 4C soldiered on, and finished the day like a hero.
