Looking good and coming along nicely.

Interesting rear bumper on it, most other Mexicos I've seen have the rear reflector mounted on the bumper, not on the body below the rear light unit. This is mine which I think is standard.

The mexico rear bumper with the reflector mounted on it is a little shorter that the earlier bumpers without reflector. Also, the curving in the body that follows the contour of the bumper near the wheel arch is placed further back on later cars. And so is the mounting hole near the wheel arch.

So be careful trying to replicate a bumper from a later car. 1969 or later model bumpers won't fit on early cars. I am not sure when exactly the modification was introduced.

On my pictures database, bumpers with incorporated reflectors starts after AM112*130. Before that, reflectors are over the rear bumper like this one.

    Hello Wilde...

Hmmm... I am a little surprised by this.. My Mexico is 074 and has the reflectors
integrated into the rear bumper.. I am pretty sure it is original to the car!

You are the only car between AM112*002 and AM112*130 with this spec. (Note : only 25 cars with photo records). I forget, AM112*058 also have reflectors on the bumper.
