2016 COTA F1 thread

Does anyone have info on the FNA event Friday? Also, does anyone know if you can bring guests to the FCA event Thursday if I buy tickets for them. Thanks in advance!

FYI, you can also park for about $20 day at the Longhorn Feed & Supply lot across for the Exxon station in front of COTA main grandstand, I've been using it for the past two years for F1.

 

We have tickets to the FCA dinner however no transportation from camping area to and from Event.

Any ideas appreciated.

 

Has anybody attended any of the My Yacht Group social events that the FCA has partnered with, in the past (specifically at COTA)? Are they worth it? Any feedback would be appreciated.

Mark - where is your camping area? and apologies for not having Uber/Lyft around town, but there are some alternatives and they are available outside of Travis County

 

My camping area is Racetrack camping. They have a will call desk at it's entrance. That's all I know-- a friend said it's a long walk. If I had more time I'd bring a motorcycle or a couple Vespas to ride to the banquet. . I could rent a vehicle but I'm busy packing and prepping RV.

 

Hah! LOL Define too old!? Unlike such events in Vegas, I think age is of less importance given the nature of the event and the variety of people attending 😄

Lyft will take you from COTA to the event. However, getting back, that's the tricky part, especially given most of the attendees will be driving two seaters. There is also Fasten (another startup / cab app) How many people in your party? I might have an idea.

 

Did any one attend the Pary hosted by myyachtclub in the past? Is it worth attending solo ? My friend backed out in the last minute.

 

Anyone know if there's a dress code for the FCA dinner?

 

From our local FCA pres. "although it's not a formal evening (appropriate evening attire is appreciated), I'm planning on wearing a Texas Tux (jeans and boots with a tux shirt and coat)."

I have two extra tickets for sale to the F1 race. Turn 15, Section 4, Row 9. They are PSL tickets so you can access the Velocity Lounge and the PSL Tent at T15. Oh, and they get you into the Taylor Swift concert.

 

I'll be there Sunday only for my first visit to COTA. Getting excited!

My seats are Turn 12, Section 1, Row 9, Seats 1, 2, 3 & 4.
