C est dû à quoi? une volonté personnelle, faute de temps, de budget etc
À quoi bon une catégorie pros et non pros? On a droit à quoi pour une catégorie pro?
    une super licence...

There are no categories however there are owners who are Pro racing drivers (silver, gold) and there are the coaches who are also pros (silver, gold, platinum).

There are also no races in the XX Programmes but rather yourself against the stopwatch which then can be compared to others...

My English is not so fluent than yours, also
I suppose that it s much more easy for me to express my impression in my maternal tong.
Sorry for you, sorry for me, but I know perfectly that Peter use many languages so it helps!

You can notice Peter reply are always in English.

sure, French is definitely a more refined and layered language.
As to the reaction, is the French in me that can't help ;)

The FIA grades racing drivers into 4 grades: platinum, gold, silver and bronze.

Platinum are those guys such as Bruni, Calado, and many other top notch winning drivers. The next grade down is gold. Many gold are former platinums. Gold and platinum drivers tend to be works drivers but qualify exclusively in the Pro category. Silver drivers sit on both sides of the equation. They are Pros but can be partnered with bronze drivers in certain circumstances. For example, in the Am class at the 24 hours of Spa, you can have a silver join the 3 bronze drivers for as long as the silver does not drive more than 6 hours in total and he cannot do more than 2 hours in a 6 hour period.
Bronze drivers are essentially Gentlemen drivers except where age is concerned. As once you are over 50, you are a bronze forever.
It is interesting as gold drivers all want to be downgraded to silver and silver to bronze as it allows them to partner gentlemen drivers (and get paid to race)...

It is a complicated scale, where results, lap times and participations are all taken into account.

Yes they will. Am not sure how many though, as anyone who has been to Homestead, (such as me!), never really wants to ever set foot there again!! There will be a lot of them at Daytona for the World Finals though.

    Peter,
I had the pleasure of seeing your car in New Orleans. Looking forward to seeing it again in December. One of the best looking FXXK's out there. Next to Bud Moeller's F1 car they were one of the best sounding cars I've ever heard. Any plans to run your F1 car at Daytona?
