Daily drove my 260 spider for around 8 months out of every year when it and I lived in Dubai.... the other 4 months were simply too hot and as my a/c compressor was u/s at the time I had no choice but to switch cars.

I was lucky in that my office parking was 2 levels underground and my home garage was secure so the roof never went up and the car really seemed to thrive on being used.

Now back in the UK and thanks to a commute 10x longer than the UAE and the rubbish weather and roads here I've managed a total of 500 miles in the last 12 months :-(

Me neither, although I did go to the last karting event in Estepona!

Love those old photos. Thanks for posting them.

    Brilliant!

I need to move to Cali!

You're right of course, if you use the car regularly (as in each day) then a trickle charger is not required. I have three Italian cars, I've owned six in total, more than any other country of origin car bar one, Rover cars. Five lease (new) and one second hand. Anyway my point is simple. The three that were in regular use never needed a trickle charger but the those that were occasion cars always did. Even my 2006 Alfa daily car if left for two weeks I'd wager it would need to be jump started. In my experience Italian cars lose electricity :D

My teeny garage is a right pain. There is a procedure to get the car in and out and that is once you've placed yourself in the car. Just this weekend I put a small scratch on the door mirror because I was looking towards the other side and forgot to fold my side in at the right time.
I always knew it was going to be tight because it was similar with my F355 before (though not as bad).

I actually saw your video a while ago while researching to get a 360 and I'm back on the hunt for one and found the thread thanks to the handy dandy search button. I tell myself I will buy one and not daily drive just take it to the mountains on the weekends, but living in Utah, with relatively good roads and flat surfaces, I think I'll end up driving it quite a lot! I currently have a MB GLC as a daily and the soon to be replaced M3 and I find myself driving the M3 a lot more unless I need the practicality! Can't help it, love driving my cars, it breaks my heart seeing them sit in the garage!

I'm glad you revived this thread. There are a lot of replies that I missed. LOVE seeing the CS doing surf duty!

You won't regret driving your 360 once you get it. Drive it as much as you can. Once you have a Ferrari, you never want a day to go by that prohibits its enjoyment.

You are my hero. I've always wanted to, but my smallest board is 6,0. It won't fit

There a lot of awesome owners in this group! What got my eye, as you mentioned, is the guy going surfing with his CS! I've wanted a 360 for years!

That's awesome! I'm currently shopping and keeping a keen eye at the classifieds in here. I'm currently in the Middle East for work, I don't think it will happen until June/July unless there's a deal I just can't pass on! Now that this thread has some more life to it it'd be awesome to read about more owners and their views. [emoji1360]

The two ferraris I owned so far both always had to do daily duty as they are only cars - winter tyres in winter and all is good. 355 even had to do London commute every day, which is basically a 7 mile traffic jam both ways
FF has an easier life - mostly Munich city driving and German Autobahn. Parking spaces are very tight, and it will have some battle scars with time, but so be it.

My daily commute is normally about 15 miles round trip and usually pretty open. Massive respect for using your Ferrari's and enjoying them!

I would have driven my 360 more to work than I did, but don't have a good place to park. I drive my GT3 though, and put a cover on it. Besides the attention, the 360 would be fine as a daily. It has a light clutch, good visibility, decent trunk, good ac and ride. The only thing I didn't like was in the florida heat, the metal shift knob got really hot.

There is no reason any of these cars could not be used daily. In fact they work better with fewer issues, the more they are used.

I agree. Made my care my DD a number of years ago. The only solid reason against it as a DD is repair time. When it breaks, you don't know if you will get parts, have access to your mechanic quickly, etc. That means it could be down for 1-4 weeks depending on what happens. That make it necessary to have another car OR be able to get by sharing the other car/cars in the house.

If I could I would use mine every day I would but parking spaces here are tiny so it's difficult to park in town. I definitely can't get it down the ramp to park at my office and much of the time....I have to do the school run with the kids!
