    Let's see...

    - 1961 Ford Galaxie headlight profile

    - 1960 Ford Frontenac grille

    - 1964 Ford Falcon greenhouse

    - Mid-60s Ford Zephyr/Zodiac side sculpting

    - 1960s Ford cheapie hubcaps

    Yep, must be GM! ;)

A bit like Ford Escort Mk I but the front looks off... were they manufactured under license?

I took a look at this during lunch today and ended up finding it. Unfortunately, I became busy immediately afterward and now I've forgotten some of the details and can't even recall where I saw it. I believe this car was called the "Sprint" and was a 1960 prototype on the GM platform that eventually became the Vauxhall HA Viva/Envoy Epic/Bedford HA/etc. I'm sure Dino will correct me if I'm getting the details wrong.

And kudos to Gabriel for calling out the GM/Vauxhall connection right away!

Yes, that's basically it, Vauxhall XP-714, considered also as one of the influences in development of Opel Kadett A.

    Full story available at:

Now I probably know more about the Vauxhall Viva story than I really care for :) ... but, interestingly, I could not find any picture of the XP-714 prototype on that site! Many of fairly similar cars, but not of that specific one.

Actually, it was the uncharacteristic grille that initially led me to think of a possible (but later) Soviet look-a-like.

Found yesterday on one of the many automotive forums I frequent, but I can't recall which:

Looks like a Touring of Milan work. Ferrari would be too easy. Front looks a bit like an Aceca.

    Looks like a Ghia-Aigle body but I think it's a US car.

It's looks a bit like a Ghia bodied 195 I've seen. But the tail is different...hmmmm

The closest Ghia-bodied 195 would have to be 0121/S, but when compared side-by-side, the two designs probably have less in common than you were thinking.

In response to all of your thoughts so far:

Not Touring, not Ferrari, and not AC.

Not Ghia-Aigle and not a US car.

    Not Ghia.

Neither the car nor the coachbuilder are Italian.
