    My 458 italia makes a whistle noise when changing gear hard is this normal

    Fwiw I don't think the squeak heard in Jessie's video is normal, Jessie I would get
    it checked by dealer if not already done

    OP: you could perhaps post a video of the noise.

    My spider does this, but I've only noticed it when I'm driving the car hard.

    A few years ago a driver reported the same symptom tho did not provide a sound file, IIRC.

    Anyway I believe he reported a loose engine belt that once tightened, correct the squeak...

    Please let us know what you find...
