It's Blu Corsa, new colour introduced for 488 Spider. It's beautiful in person. I went to Atelier intending to order yellow and came out with a car that will look similar to that - as did a few of my friends!
Picked it up today......finally. Drove it home and am truly impressed. I honestly cannot for the life of me figure out all the conversation about sound/exhaust etc. My hearing must be compromised, because I think it's fine. I did drive it home with the top down, so maybe that had something to do with it after 3 yellow Ferraris, back to classic Red/Tan. Congratulations on your new spider. It looks fantastic. It's the first Ferrari in a while that I love the standard wheels instead of the other wheel options available.
Thanks! The tan is: Beige Tradizione Yes folding mirrors are now std so i don't have to get out of the car & fold the mirrors in to get into the garage. 1st world problem.. Progress gentlemen.....progress.
Congrats. I made myself laugh when the first pic I saw upon clicking on this thread was your interior shot. I couldn't believe that someone was using my interior shot that I have posted elsewhere. Then I realized it was your car! Not my 458. You have fantastic taste! I love the new beige color. I had 2 yellow Ferraris previously and couldn't believe I went to red. Ferraris really do look good in this color Best, Randy
I'm curious if you gave any thought to getting castoro carpets with your beige interior before choosing Nero. It's interesting how few choose castoro carpets with beige anymore, even though that was typically the classic choice on 308/328's, 348's, 355's, 360's, 430's, Boxers, Testerossa's and most 458's with beige leather.
They were incredulous at the dealer when I told them I was going to order red After 3 yellow cars, they we're betting I would go with dark grey, or even yellow again. My 1st Ferrari a 328 was red/tan, so I've come full circle. Maybe the next one will be back to yellow. We'll,see.
