Well, if you're serious about that one then think due diligence, big time. I'm always hesitant when a seller floods the internet. But at least it's not the same one I looked at in my area a few years ago.
How difficult is it to sell the Cobra? I'm not familiar with Michigan laws, but in Missouri there was a little-known law where you could sell your car private party, document the sale with a notarized bill of sale, and then you had six months to use that amount against the amount you bought your next car for.
Whoa! for that? I'll pass. I am looking for winter project...that's too pricey for what it is. Sorted & clean? No problem.
You said you want a red one dont settle on yellow. That car has been for sale in GR since at least spring time. Pass
355 prices have actually dipped pretty good in the last 9 months or so for non premium cars. I think the car is worth half the asking price the way it sits. Bit more if you are sure you can get a quality major service out of them. $45k max.
Pass on it for that price. Also, my advise is don't have the place where you bought it from do the work, leaves a lot of conflict of interest. It will also be difficult for you to find someone who wants a trade for what you have so you might want to reconsider that.
