Secty of Defense? Who Knows. I've got no clue. And I'm guessing, neither does he.

Mike Pence (Our new VP) thinks you can CURE being gay. Yup, a little psychotherapy and POOF there goes your gayness out the window.

Most of the regulars in the Republican party are already saying, "No thanks." The governor of Florida, Rick Scott has already said he's not interested in a cabinet position.

Wait and see. The current Republican senators aren't going to want to go, as anyone who does gets replaced with a nominee from the governor of the state he came from. Lots of Democratic governors would love to swing that balance of power. So he's stuck with reworked ex's; ex governors, ex senators, ex-hookers, or he's going to have to line his cabinet with business people who are clueless about how to get along and make a country run, in a pretty hostile environment.

So his advisors? Maybe that bimbo lawyer who ran his campaign? Harvard Law degree and all, she's still a dope.

It's gonna get ugly. But it's ok, because we're building a wall, and sending all our McDonald's burger flippers back to Mexico. And hey, can we ship those Syrian refugees to you guys? Maybe you can stick them on an island or something?

Seriously, all interesting points, Dave. I was wondering how the entrenched bureaucracy and Rep old guard would handle him - I still think he'll be hamstrung by it all (to yours and the world's benefit). I note he's already toning down the rhetoric.

The thought of this guy as my President for the next four years makes me ill. ILL. But, it's the way we do it here, and I'm stuck with him. Doesn't mean I can't work to hamstring him with a Democratic majority in the Senate or House of Representatives in two years, but for now, it's all him.

and of course he's toning down the rhetoric. That's the way to play. His followers that were screaming voter fraud two days ago are now saying the only reason there WASN'T voter fraud was because they had alerted everyone to be on the lookout for it.

I had some nut in his military fatigues standing outside my polling station for about 20 minutes yesterday, "making sure everything was on the up and up." I asked him if he was active duty, then asked him where he was stationed, finally asked him for his commanding officer's name, and he left. Turns out wearing your combat fatigues as a means to intimidate a voter during an election might end up being a no-no.

Oh well, at least the stock market didn't crash.

I've seen that all over Facebook since Trump started to run for President and I remember watching that episode when it was first aired on tv back in the early 2000s. lol.

 

I really hate to bring this up, but I hope Trump's security is sharp. I can see something horrible happening.

Throughout every great administration, be it Reagan, Tatcher, Howard, the left maintained a constant howling derision, whilst the lefties themselves enjoyed the fruits of economic growth without a word of gratitude. It will be the same for Trump, for the next 8 years they'll cry and stamp their feet about his every utterance.

 

"He" doesn't need to, there is an ongoing investigation which will likely lead to criminal charges.

Her only hope is that Obama absolves her the day he leaves office.
