If you're doing the parade (which I hope you do) there's no alternative but to get the $175 all-weekend pass.

That is steep. That is IMO going to restrict people turning up. Yes $175 + extras may not seem a lot but it will hinder.

We (and I was part of it) in the UK hold that record 964 cars. In the US you should smash that record but I think that price may slow it.

It was 100% free in the UK to bring your Ferrari, £10 IIRC to view + parking. Anyway good luck folks :)

It will be interesting. You can't drive that slow around Daytona without falling off the track. You have to keep a minimum speed of at least 70 mph.

What is expensive is the $75 lunch and $250 dinner.

Yikes. Mind you there was a cost involved for lunch in the UK. No idea how much though.

The total cost to participate in the World Record Attempt is $225.00 plus tax. Each owner must purchase a Ferrari Premium pass for $175.00 and pay $50.00 to participate in the world record attempt.
In the Ferrari world $225.00 is not a lot of $, but for some owners it may be.

I will be there with my Mondial.

Driving over from Citrus County Saturday morning, staying Sat/Sun for the races.

Popped for a couple of $75 meals, but not the $250 dinner.

You also get access to the Ferrari VIP areas and probably can get closer the F1 cars and drivers too!

Yes, Stuart, there are two or three Daytona-Orlando shuttle services that run seven days a week. Google "Daytona Orlando shuttle" to find them. Two have VERY similar website addresses, so make sure you don't confuse one for the other when making reservations. Good luck and welcome to central Florida!

Does anyone know what the garage access pass provides over general infeld? Can you actually go into the garages and see the Clienti cars being prepped or just walk along the pits?

We're coming with four Ferraris out of the Collection to take part in this 1,000 car record
    attempt.

In discussing the event, how are they possibly going to pull this off? I've been at 24 Hour
races at Daytona where there were over 80 cars taking the green flag and it was pure bedlam
at the start until cars started falling out which created more room on the track.

That was racing of course and this will likely be a well regulated parade of cars. But, still
how is this going to work? Will the cars be going out four abreast and keeping to the aprons
    under the banking?

There'd better be a strong hand running this deal as we know, there is always an Andretti
wannabe in the crowd with delusions of "winning" the big event.

A cab ride from Orlando to Daytona would be prohibitively expensive.

Suggest renting a car. For $20.00/day, you'll be able to get around no worries and not
have to take out a mortgage for the event.

I was wondering the same thing about the banking. I'm sure they will have us at some low maximum speed. And it's going to be dark!

I share your thoughts. If you YouTube similar events there are many crash videos.
I'm close by, but will not be bringing my car, especially when insurance won't pick up the tab when you are on a track.

I may show up to spectator however.

I'd like to know if they get their 1000s. I don't think they will.
I don't mind spending a lot of money, but mentally I have to justify if I'm getting what I'm paying for. In other words, that$100 steak better be good!
Paying $300 for a car show and someone else's record... ehhh tough one
