Seems to be a week of legends passing away :(...
Unfortunately I think we're going to have to get used to this - all the great rockers are old men now... That song about the band in heaven is probably a bit scary for some now! Can't imagine that in 40 years time today's teenagers will be heartbroken at the loss of some rapper.
This looks pretty cool. I suspect they're no longer made this way lol https://www.facebook.com/hintmag/videos/10157748181390261/?hc_ref=NEWSFEED

University activist daughter of one of my wife's friends, driving to a climate change conference in Spain last month, got trapped in blizzards. (Northern hemisphere having a very cold and early winter) Said the very PC mother "it was just a freak of nature"

Ditto... https://www.newscientist.com/article/2113493-global-sea-ice-has-reached-a-record-low-should-we-be-worried/ Apparently the sudden drop in ice is due to two abnormal (shorter term) weather patterns (but they are blaming the erratic weather on global warming).
Apparently, the footage was was taken during a recreation of the crime. Sounds like he's a lucky chap.... "Mr Murphy, Chief Sumara said, bought it after the man on the street told him it would “make him feel good”. “He then tried it in the room, he drank, mixed it together,” he added, saying the teenager felt sick in the stomach. While police initially suspected it to be cocaine or heroin, by this afternoon they said that laboratory tests of the teenager's urine and the white powder had come back negative. It was instead, Chief Sumara said, a mixture of caffeine tablets and cold medication."
Well of course they do and yes, we have been in a warming phase since the end of the last ice age, some part of which is quite likely a result of industrialisation, which btw has massively improved the lives of literally billions of people. The question is how significant is the human contribution and is there justification for diverting our economies to massively subsidised "renewables" vs. making incremental progress with cleaner conventional coal, gas and nuclear power. My conclusions after many years following the science are respectively "very small" and "emphatically no".
So you don't think burning 50% or more of the carbon (that took thousands of years to accumulate) in the space of 150 years has ANY effect on the environment? Earth was a closed system last time I looked.

Nup,didn't sell to fund one or other of the early and rare TVR's at the Moss-Green auction on the 27th. Yesterday I received the mechanical reports on both vehicles.
