The owner of the Lancia 037 also owns a Lancia Delta S4. There may be a second Lancia Delta S4 in the Chicago area. Anybody know if that is true??

Thanks for your link. Farrbar already reminded me of that a few pages back. That was the greatest era in Rally most agree. To many crashes and killed drivers/spectators stopped it unfortunately, but it still amazes me that the FIA will have a child when a track does not have a big enough run off area and yet FIA Rally let's people right on the edge of the track(and on the track in southern Europe):). It is only a matter of time before some do good politician ruins that. By the way, that 037 Evo was the team spare car and was in England until brought by the owner to Chicago a few years ago. Still looking for the second Delta S4 in the area. I am sure it will turn up someday at a show.

By the way, the 037 Evo was just over 2100lbs with 350+hp depending on the tune. This thing must fly!!

The Lancia Delta S4 race was just over 2000lbs with 480HP. Now wonder why drivers were having problems with it on non tarmac rally's.

Looks like a good close to a great year of events. I wish they would take a chance and run events until December or atleast until Thanksgiving. Some of them are indoor anyway and the weather has been getting warmer. I am all for global warming:). Just kidding.

I do not have the 2017 March date for Ferrari Expo yet. I will talk to Hugh this week about it. We should start next year off in January with the first Fuel Fed event and then the February Chicago Auto show. I leave you with something a little funny and related to the Lancia rally cars we saw this fall in the Chicago area.
