I saw a differential reinforcement girdle mentioned in an article (that I can't find again). Has anyone ever seen or had one of these on their 308/328?

Why would you want this on a 308? My understanding is they are needed on high torque application which is far from being the case of a 308.

The weak link in those differentials is the attachment of the ring gear to the carrier. They work then key hole the gear and carrier then break the bolts. Stronger bolts at higher torque for more clamping force and maybe some pins to take some of the shear load.
