outside door latch broke

    anyone have the door handle pop and then will not open the door ? any threads on this ? the door handle is in tack and still on the car something inside the door let go. i will be removing the door panel later this week but any help would be great. 1995 f355

    The connection from the door handle to the door lock assembly is likely dislocated. Welcome to hell. You must have very small hands.

    I had that happen to mine, and the Ferrari Dealer removed the outside panel to do the repair. Not from the inside door panel. Much easier to get to as I remember. No longer own the car.

    The picture showing a plastic arm is where the outside handle attaches to the lock. It is in an awkward place where you cannot squeeze the rod end into the plastic hole. I just had to do this a few weeks ago and I ended up ...

    Removing the outside door panel
    Removing the inside door panel
    Remove the lock from the door so I can connect first the door lock to the outside door latch
    Then, put the door lock back on and connect everything else
