You are correct, the sources are on the right hand side (written vertically). I just found it interesting, as I said, I don't know the science for this.
And that's it in a nutshell. Few people would disagree with that. The problem is the greenies / lefties feel they have to dress it up in a way that is completely dishonest (ie. inventing something to scare the crap out of everyone). Ultimately - as usual - they will do their own cause a lot of harm, because people are waking up to it and getting very pissed off.
I'm sorry John, but that graphic is a classic example of the dishonest presentation of data to justify the alarmist position. The temperature axis is the change from a carefully chosen base point. Move the base point and the curve changes. The simple fact is that no observations anywhere have matched the model predictions, because they are all based on a theoretical feedback mechanism that simply doesn't exist. The alarmists routinely change the models to show a match to historical observation, just like NASA and BoM "adjust" the historical temp record to remove inconvenient warm periods. But they have 100% failed to predict future temps. CAGW is a fraud, the destruction of ethical science for the pursuit of a neo-Marxist political agenda. The Greens started in Germany in the 70's, funded by the KGB, as part of a strategy to weaken western economic and military power. The USSR is gone, but the activists they funded dominate our education and administration systems. I too want to see less coal burned for the sake of human health, but solar panels and windmills aren't the answer - their manufacturing cycle is extremely toxic and coal power intensive. It just happens mostly in China where the by-products are hidden from view.
Earth is still a closed system, solar variation just means a corresponding variation INSIDE our little bubble.
Oh you're exactly correct on that Gizz, that's what I keep saying the numbers are all bull dust on both sides BUT that doesn't mean you can just keep unbalancing things with no effect.
Radiation, but a closed system means nothing in or out. So radiation goes in and out, there are probably small atmospheric losses, and about 100 tons per day of dust and meteors coming in.

I am astonished at the number of significant figures whom have passed away in 2016. Yet another. Top Stories: Fidel Castro, Cuba's former president, dies aged 90 http://ab.co/2fiXw05
If you want to look at global temperature graphs over a meaningful timeframe you need to look at geological time http://www.vonborks.org/Pages/Walt/1.jpg This shows global temperature vs atmospheric CO2 over the last 600 million years (just under 1/7th of the earths age). The interesting thing about this graph is that your 20,000yr pretty picture fits entirely within the thickness of the border of the graph I linked Sort of shows the relevance (or not) of any graph showing how the temperature is varying over the last two decades/two centuries/two millennia...
I found the origins of the graph and I like this guy, and check the link to "The Global Warming War" Astronaut/Physicist Walter Cunningham, November 2013 The Global Warming War
I get so angry when I read stuff like that, knowing that alarmists have so much influence and so little scientific rigour.
Oops I did forget about meteors, thanks! Still, no elements leave our atmosphere and the amount of radiation that escapes is pretty small too. I just think we should try and keep our little sandbox a bit cleaner.
