Just read about evora 410. 10 extra hp, 100 less lbs, r comp tires, stiffer suspension. $8500 extra Sounds great but why are they introducing more models when they cant even delivery the old ones!? Lotus...
Finally saw one in the flesh at AutoSport design in NY while meeting with one of the owners. It was red with the F1 gearbox. It looked nicely put together and looked better in person than in photos. Cabin was big improvement over last Evora and S. Will try to take a test drive in Dec when I am back in the area. Robb Image Unavailable, Please Login
Not normally a fan of red on a Lotus (sorry Flash )... but that looks great! Really like the newly aggressive chin I'm also wiping up drool generated while looking at all the other cars in the background!!!!
Surprised it has the auto trans which is an old school torque converter 6 speed slushbox. Too bad they couldn't use dct with loaded caymans near $100k, this is a nice alternative
I agree with Aedo; that look like an Alladin's Cave of Aston Martins. Really ... a DB 5 or 6 shooting brake? There were about 6 of those built, right?
Saw the yellow one at Hilton Head Island Concours, then the Packard slid into the Lagoon after getting the best of class award. Interesting day. Doubt I'll see that again.....
Motorcars of Georgia had a BRG with paddles on the showroom floor last week. It was an unsold unit and it looked and felt great - didn't drive it, but wanted to. They said they anticipate manuals to arrive a bit later - that requires a separate certification through the EPA so speculating Lotus built and certified what they expected would sell first. >8^) ER
A few photos. Sticker was $103,985 and included: Paddle-Shift Auto $2,850 Alcantara Pack $3,400 Black Pack $2,000 Forged Black Wheels $2,700 Metallic Paint $1,250 Destination Charge $1,885 VIN ends in ...0050 If you want it, give Brandon Saszi a call. >8^) ER Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Not sure if it was just the camera lens you used but the color change ove those 3 photos was pretty drastic. I really think that green looks fantastic and modern without being loud or tacky.
gorgeous car! needs the stick shift though. slush box lets it down I would like to see the targa version
I went to buy a new 911 last week and just wasn't excited, then started to consider alternatives so now I am really liking this car at its price point and seriously looking at ordering one. I think the manuals and targa's arrive early 2017. Also the 410 looks awesome but maybe too track focused for me and I need the back seats for the odd rare occasion. Hopefully I can order/get a regular 400 with the carbon roof option and not have to wait too long.
The Evora are actually comfortable, much larger than an Elise. I loved my Elise so much I used it for daily driving for over a year, so maybe I'm the wrong person to take advise from... The 400 has tons of character, and is a solid performer. 911 are amazing cars, and do everything so darn well, but I find them to be very sterile... Check out the new 400, you might be pleasantly surprised.
That middle photo was taken about two hours prior to the others when there was still a lot of sunlight coming in the front window of the dealership, hence the shift towards the yellow end of the green spectrum. It's a great color if you're a fan of green. >8^) ER
Atlanta 355, there are manual Evora 400s for sale right now on ebay. Brand new cars, from dealers & w/ warranty, etc.

Is Lotus going to ever send the Exige S roadster here to the United States?? I know that you can get one in Europe but not here. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
No. It hasn't been engineered to US standards and there are no plans to do so. You can buy them in every other market except the US... I have taken one for a test drive and it is brilliant and as soon as I can I will buy one
