Gorgeous. What happened to the 355 you purchased at Monterey last year? I barley missed that car. I'd been trying to talk to the owner as he was just down in the next building. When I did catch him at Concorso he said he had already promise someone he would sell it that day!

Great for you! I was surprised they did not have a true concours representative from each model. Mine would not qualify as it has wider tires (315/35/17 245/40/17 a 355 wing, but the rest including the loud pipe are correct. Luckily I have the Sebring set up as this is a bumpy track and makes road going easier. This according to Glen Marquis at FoWas. It was fitting to be there-the first NA Ferrari Challenge finals as this is the first NA Ferrari Challenge converted and registered car. It was there from the beginning. 88987

Now for todays Challenge cars, they are lightyears ahead of where it all began. Pure race cars with incredible speed, sound, and handling. A real show with some pro quality talent mixed in. As far as I'm concerned they all are capable drivers with the guys up front really fast.

Of course there were a few things that went wrong on the track. After the parade lap attempt for the 1000 Ferraris on track I stopped to let my passenger off on the way out, and noted across the road by the fence in turn 5 a cool Mad Max looking Peterbuilt truck so I walked over to look at it. I wish I had taken a picture of it in it's current state as it sat near the fence and giant generator. I understand it was one of the leaders during practice crashed in turn 5 and the half shaft flew out of the car and sailed over the fence causing this damage. Immediately people from the team came to retrieve the part as well as Ferrari's higher ups to investigate how this happened. Imagine what could have happened...
