Hi guys I just discovered that marvellous new one-off from ferrari. https://www.facebook.com/FerrariF12TourDeFrance/photos/pcb.645331038961674/645330905628354/?type=3&theater https://www.facebook.com/FerrariF12TourDeFrance/photos/pcb.645331038961674/645330382295073/?type=3&theater https://www.facebook.com/FerrariF12TourDeFrance/photos/pcb.645331038961674/645330978961680/?type=3&theater https://www.facebook.com/FerrariF12TourDeFrance/photos/pcb.645331038961674/645330318961746/?type=3&theater https://www.facebook.com/FerrariF12TourDeFrance/photos/pcb.645331038961674/645330328961745/?type=3&theater Feel free to repost the pictures
I'm not sure where all the negative feelings are coming from with the design. Its smooth lines go back to the classic designs and looks great. It reminds me of the F12 Touring converted to their "Lusso" spec. This is for the grown and sexy and gets two thumbs up from me.
It's kind of interesting...to my eye it has a contemporary 60's/early 70's vibe to it...a leopard skin dash would not look out of place (!)....and I mean that in the best possible way.
But where's the negativity? OK, initially, in the other thread it was suggested this could be the F12M. So, SP vs F12M, I'm glad it's just an SP. Interesting but logically tied to the F12 design with an, again, logical SP twist. In other words, not enough entity to be a F12M. But kind of nice, nevertheless. And then it's been called "low budget" one-off. That's all the negativity. Not that much In fact, the front lights not exactly like the F12 would suggest an expensive project (keeping them exactly like F12 ensures lower cost), unless this is the intro/show version and then a street legal version might have the F12 lights in a near future.
The more metallic silver car behind this SP is the P540 Superfast, based on the 599. Farther to the side is the F60America, 1 of 10 and F12 based.
I see now that the front lights are just like the F60 ones, so they must have been homologated before and not exclusive to this new project. "Low cost" SP, after all
It is a one-off specially built for Dr. Rick Workman in FL, he got it less than one week ago. Giallo triplo strato with blue carbon, body resembling Preston Henn's 275 GTB/C Speciale #06885. Chassis number is 223542. It took the factory two years build it. Greetz from Daytona. Marcel Massini
I like it . .. . just out of curiosity .. any idea how much it cost to get something like this .designed and built ????would certainly be a fun and exciting project..
