This is nice car, whether 24 miles or 100000 miles. To bad for the owner, he did not drive it.

    No kidding!

Adjusted for inflation and reinvesting the dividends, the money would've been better off in the S&P 500...including the great recession!

But then he wouldn't have been able to stare at a mint CGT whenever he felt like it I guess. :D

Dude....what is the point of having such a beautiful car if it never gets driven???

Just go buy a 1:16 version if you simply like the "looks." This car is loved because of its ENGINE. Come on people.

It goes both ways, maybe the previous owner had a CGT he drove the wheels off?

    Thank you ; )

Maybe the previous owner could not get passed how good the car looked?

    +1

Wow. The psycholgy involved in never driving the car after delivery....

Maybe a shrewd investor with the will power of a SEAL, or someone with a garage the size of the titanic who doesn't mind losing a few cars in there for a decade or so. Cant come up with anything else that makes sense :)

    What a great car... GLWS

At least the certificate of authenticity comes with the car so the new owner doesn't have to worry about it being a replica.

At MSRP in 2004, looks like a wash or better to me. LOL.

Car is fantastic and should be kept low mileage, if possible.

Not original air... date coded air though... so its practically the same. They drained the air out of a 2005 yugo bottled it and then put it in these tires.

So this GT sold on Nov. 5, 2016 at Auctions America where it was purchased for a total of $800K including commissions. Did you purchase it at the auction?

I do not think everyone sees it that way....
I believe this is the same car. I do not know if we bought it from them or some one else and then flipped it to us.....
    Haha
I think we will be ok. Using the two cars above for reference I think we know what we are doing :)

this car was never started out of the factory. it was totally pushed from the factory,to delivery point in Ohio. until recently it remained with zero hrs. & zero miles on it . That is what the original owner desired.I believe it was eventually started and driven 24 miles for maintenance purposes. What a shame not to drive it? Fortunately the original owner has another 35 significant Porshes to drive if desired. What can ya say ??
