Most Japanese and other Asian nations view these cars as more-or-less just used cars. Exceptions are F40s, F50s, and Enzos.

 

LIST prices were higher, most cars have been sitting for sale over a year at this point.

 

512M up for auction at Mecum in Kissimmee, FL in January. Interesting to see if it sells.

Once inflation kicks in, today's prices will be "the good old days".

I do not understand.

Prices are going down but markets are gonig up?????

I see an oportunity to sell those shares and buy something you can touch and feel and drive but also investment quality!

 

And alot of people on here said that the prices wouldn't go down substantially unless there was a stock crash, recession, etc. They were all wrong on two counts now. None of these things happened, prices on the high production cars fell hard, and now equity markets are up and the prices continue to decline. Enthusiast holocaust and unsustainable prices set the stage. The end result was going to happen one way or another.

Time to find some new snake-oil there Vincenzo. LOL

 

Unless you purchased your Ferrari to flip and make a big profit who cares? I hope prices don't ever get so high that I will be afraid to drive and enjoy my car.

- Oil has nearly doubled in price since Feb'16.
- The stock markets are setting new, all time highs.
- The only way our National debt can be paid off is via massive inflation.
- The Fed is about to raise interest rates to slow an overheating economy.

So where is the money on a 90 TR black/tan, drives very well, last known major ~10 years ago. Sparse records prior to that, no luggage, 32k miles, some rock chips, but looks awesome in person. Needs brakes (vibrate when braking). Tools all there

I am thinking of adding a TR in black that I can drive regularly. Seems like the right car, but prices are literally across the board and I am not sure where to offer....no asking price.

Yes, maybe down 30% or 40% from highest mountain top price? but that is not much. It is as they say a dead dog bounce and when it bounces it is set to get much higher.

The important thing is where it goes and in half the world it is now cold. When temp is cold, market gets cold and when temp warms up so does market.

I think many miss the opportunity since Trump will spend $$$ on better roads and that means more roads to drive cars on that are smooth and everything i think points to more money now in hands of the rich and so more billionairs. The stocks are way up now and I expect the drop in prices was a mistake.

 

Ill throw a guess out there, without all the info I would say its an $85k car minus $15-20k for the issues and needs. So $65-70k.

 

When are you looking to buy? How much do you want to pay? And what condition would you settle for?

 

I am looking to buy anytime. No rush. I will pay what seems fair for the car. I am looking for a Car that I can drive on a regular basis and enjoy. A driver so to speak.

Pretty easy going on condition, just nice would be fine.

I would really prefer a black car or basically a not red car but there are some very nice red ones for sale.

The seller is firm on 80k for the car as is.

 

Personally with your description 80k is the max. Need the engine out right away and for a driver I would also go with a new diff with it's mileage. That is allready a lot of money to start with.

 

that's precisely why these are sometimes are worth so much less - they just require a lot of money to be kept, and we're usually not dealing with billionaires wanting to keep them pristine. Just common mortals, living on a budget that would like to have one. the maintenance cost needs to be taken out of the price..
