I'm sure they will come up with new and creative ways to lift large quantities of money from our bank accounts to theirs.

 

You can be pretty sure that any events organised by the Factory in Italy will not be publicised until the last minute, leaving everyone to scrabble around booking travel and accommodation.

The 50th was a wonderful event with numerous rare cars displayed in Rome and subsequently around the streets of Modena. IIRC the admission charges were very reasonable and much could be seen at no cost. I suspect that this will have changed!

i was living in rome at the time - and that was a spectacular weekend ! there was a procession of ferraris that went all over town, and were then displayed in the foro romano olympic stadium from the 30's. then they had some fast lapping around the baths of caracala, and a few other things i was not invited to. that was the weekend that made me into a ferrari fanatic.

There's a suggestion in Vintage that the weekend of September 8-10 2017 in Maranello has been chosen - no other details

 

8-10 sept confirmed at Finali. There will be local events in up to 70 countries leading to that.

Pretty sure Ferrari has sorted by now all events they'll host in 2017, including the celebration of the brand's 70th anniversary.

I would give a ring to your local dealer. As soon as they get clearance from Maranello, they'll start to contact customers and/or respond to a customer's inquiries, such as this one.

Well, until an announcement is made, there's the Cavallino Classic (Jan 25-29) and the FCA International Meet at Daytona (Apr 4-9). The latter is celebrating the famous 1-2-3 win at the 24 Hours in 1967 (50 years later).
