My comment had nothing to do with looks. I agree, they are all beautiful cars. However, from a performance perspective, the early injected 308s are lethargic at best. The carbureted or QV models were ideal.

I was born in 1962. At the end of 1980 I got my driving license and my parents got me my first car, a brand new 652 cm3, 35 hp, two cylinders, top speed 125 km/h Citroen LNA. I remember that just after being deliverer my brand new car I read on Quattroruore magazine of the new Ferrari model 308 injected, 3000 cm3, eight cylinders, 214 hp (more than six times my car power) with a top speed of 238 km/h.
