    There is a nice collection here in Brazil which features a 250 GTE, a 330GTC, a 330 GT 2+2, a 365 GT 2+2, a Daytona coupé, a BB (not sure if 512 or 365), an F40, a 308 and a 328. Oh, and a 246 GTB and a 246GTS and a 400i. I think that's about it....for Ferraris.

    Not bad....

Another notable collection is that of Mr. Auriana from CT...some of the cars from his collection were displayed at LRP Historics in 2013. Some highlights include NART Spyder 9437, 250LM 6233, SWB Comp 1741GT, 166MM 0054, and a 512 M as well as a 300S, 8C 2300 and other impeccable "non-Ferraris"

The greatest collection of Maseratis is the one of the Rettenmaier brothers in Germany (8C3000, 6C34, 8CM, 6CM, v8RI, 3x 250F, A6GCM, 300S, Tipo 60...)

Correct! Nonody on this planet ownes more historic Maserati race cars than the Rettenmaier broths.

    At a time they owned no less than 3x 300S, 3x 250F.
    Currently they have 2x T61, 2x 6CM, 2x 6CM, 1x 6C-34, 1x 4CM-1400, 1x A6GCM, 1x 8CTF, 1x 8VRi, 1x 8C-3000, 2x T26, 1x A6G-2000.

    Ciao!

My first thought was that dude needs an F50. Then I read the last sentence and all I could think was that's sad.

Unfortunately, digital cameras didn't exist at this time and I didn't take any photos. The images I have are ingrained in my brain and I still remember caressing some of his jewels. Reallt unforgettable experience. And Pierre Bardinon was a very very nice person, not at all pretentious despite the priceless treasure he possessed. RIP Pierre.
