Does anyone have experience with an effective technique to remove the door speaker cover? I have tried just putting my fingers around the top edge and giving a good pull with no results...I'm reluctant to apply further elbow grease or screwdriver leverage without some direction.

(I have the the HiFi option and have a speaker vibration in the driver's door location, which may simply be the speaker touching the cover. Trying to diagnose the problem before going thru the hassle of shipping it to a dealer.)

Ask your dealer service advisor to ask a tech how to pry off the cover. You might need a car interior pry tool kit.

Agree...talked to my salesman at Miller and he has scheduled a call with a tech for tomorrow to get me some suggestions. In parallel, late yesterday I ran over to a local reputable exotic car retailer who always has 20 or so newish Ferrari's in stock and a service dept. Their service manager contends they would have to get behind the door panel to pop a couple of screws and secure the speaker. On the other hand, they seemed pretty confident that an hour or two of labor could resolve the entire issue. I'll wait to hear what Miller says, but, I suspect I'll be calling on the local guy to get this fixed quickly and conveniently.

BTW, speaking of this local retailer, if anyone is looking for a LaFerrari with 55 miles on it (that's less than my F12 delivery miles!) or an orange 599 Aperta with yellow calipers (gulp)...I have found your car.

The interior door panels is 1 piece, not separate from the speaker cover. It needs unscrewing in several points, not prising off, and the door handle bowden cable needs removing.

Very helpful...thank you very much. This is way too ambitious for me so I guess it will be off to the service tech. I'll be giving them your scan so they don't mess it up.

Epilogue...local exotic car retailer solved the problem with 90 minutes worth of labor. Turns out the fabric on the back of the speaker grill was not fully secured (see bubble next to tech's finger below). When the speaker was at anything above very low volume the "unglued" bubble part of the fabric was fluttering against the grill and making a significant noise.

Tech followed the instructions rjn21 provided and removed door panel, identified the problem, tested a couple of different adhesives (to make sure they wouldn't leak thru the grill holes) and put the whole thing back together in 90 mins...pretty impressive work.

I also had an annoying vibration in both doors when turning up the volume of my audio system in my F12 (JBL High Power HiFi system). Following the workshop manual removed the central cover of the door panel (after removing door handle) and found out in my case it was the foam that is there to keep water from entering from inside the door to the panel. That foam was fluttering when turning up the volume. Applied some sound deadening material, and also fixed some loose cables etc. while at it. It is gone now, hope it stays that way. Sound system really looked well, serious woofer chassis (and it sounds good IMO).
