it is the Australian driving disease. If it's any consolation, I've noticed that Brisbane is the national capital for lane hogging - particularly the Gold Coast Highway, which has driving standards that would embarrass a 3rd world country. Lucky Moretti!
So he wasn't born here then? I advocate driver retesting every 5 years and compulsory examination of people who move here not this instant issue from other countries. I was in a car driven by a guy from an Asian country , who was in the right lane at 100 on a 110 freeway, when I commented, he said it's a freeway! Another story is older Asians won't drive when they are green Ps as it's a cultural thing...so two years latter they start driving...
The drivers up here Ian are the worst in Australia, absolute morons As a Sydney driver you learn how to merge, one for one, but here they haven't got a clue and hence the traffic jams for "no" apparent reason The SE freeway is a disgrace and they should all be shot, no pardons, just shot !! If they all drove like my boy (I'm sure he's not my kid and I'm going to get him tested ) there would be no need for speed cameras, police, ambulances, hospital emergency wards as he is such a rigid, law-abiding bastard that he *****s me I have NO eye deer how he sticks to the speed limit, in the correct lane giving enough room between his car and the one in front Then you have the "other" idiots on the road who wait until the last minute to get off the highway onto the off ramp from the far right lane in a 3-4 lane road Or idiots using 2 lane roundabouts and running into you from the right hand lane because they suddenly see their exit (but hey, she had her indicator on ) I also love the rubber-neckers causing MAJOR traffic jams on the "clear" side because they want to see what happened !!!
