    I'm looking to order a 489 spider. Having owned a few Ferraris over the last few years and with a 458 speciale in the garage I thought to get a bit more creative with the color scheme and own a bit more unique car of which there are not plenty already in the city.

    Would welcome suggestions, pros/cons, adjustments I should consider before I pull the trigger

    Sorry, not my cup of tea ... and will be hard to sell later ...

    I would go for (traditional) rosso corsa, tri giallo or the "new blue" .... :D

    Ferraris don't look good in green. If you like it, go for it. Just keep in mine you'll either have a hell of a time selling it for a good price relative to other colors, or you'll have to discount the hell out of it to move it reasonably quick.

    There are enough good looking and rare colors that you should probably just avoid the one with horrendous resale value.

    Do you have your heart set on green, or are you open to other unique/rare colors?

I just thought I check how many people get stirred up with this.. or perhaps there are some army men who like it [emoji39]... truth be told I've just started playing with the color combinations to see what suits best.. I don't need to do a super safe Rosso corsa with red/black/cuoio interior just to get an instant resale.. I don't buy cars with resale in mind.. just want something I'd really like.. rosso scuderia with a unique interior or yellow with some nice interior that was my first instinct... but trying to see if something out there that's a bit more special

    I've always found that my "first instinct" is usually the right one. I bet RS suits the 488 perfectly :)

    Green is not my taste at all. You mentioned earlier in your post about possibly Rosso Scuderia. I highly recommend that color. On my last Ferrari I had Corsa. Next to my buddies's Rosso Scuderia it looked boring. Scuderia is a great color, and something that I will most likely do farther down the road. I went with Argento Nurburgring to try something different than black and Rossa Corsa. I do like Rossa Corsa, but it will be awhile before I choose that color again.

    This is a color I had wanted to look for at one point but was told hard to find. I say go for it. I think it's very handsome.

    I almost went British Racing Green, but settled on Blu Scozia
    I'm a bit bored of all the stuff about resale and values and mileage. Just buy the car you like and drive it when you want. The chances are that when you sell it there will be one other person who shares your taste and will buy it over the numerous Rosso corsas on offer.
