    Christmas Story. Jean Shepherd was brilliant, I listened to him on the radio as a kid, at night, with a transistor radio earbud.

    I tiny bit of trivia. Mavis Staples was honored at the Kennedy Center this month, and CBS will have a ceremony of the show tomorrow (12/27) night.

    She also happens to be the singer for the theme song for National Lampoon Christmas Vacation.
