considering a car in Canna Di Fucile (Gunmetal Gray) and was curious if someone could give me their insight on the color. it looks very much like a mid/dark pewter color, but all of these 'anthracite' type colors have various tones in the gray. it looks to me like CDF might have some brownish tones to it. is that accurate? anyone have thoughts on this color?? would enjoy hearing your impressions.

Beautiful color, I have seen a 550 in CdF in person and it's stunning!

Here are a lot of photos of a CdF CS. In direct sunlight, closeups, different angles, hopefully it will give you a good impression of the color:

Your assessment is correct. Depending on the lines of the car and the lighting it can look fantastically subtle or just a little muddy. I love the color, but it really depends on the shape of car in question. I think Silverstone might be a more resale friendly color, but CdF can be even more special.

    Beautiful CS!

thanks for that link. those are the best pics i've seen so far of CdF. as you said, the multiple angles, highlights, and orientation to the sun were very helpful.

    thanks!

Buy the car not the color.

A color that fits any Ferrari V12 GT like a glove, imho. Discreet and classy. I'm not a fan of Rosso Corsa.

    Kind regards,

    Nuno.

My 456 is CdF and what can I say...I cannot be objective

The color change, depending of the light, the way you look at the car... It's not the same under the spring light and the autumn light. Really stunning !

For a V12, CdF is the best choice.

That CdF FF with no shields is really something.

I find CdF has a hint of brown to it, compared to another grey I like, Grigio Titanio, which is much lighter and has more hints of silver to it. Grigio Silverstone on the other hand, is pretty much darker than these two.

the thing that draws me most to CdF is the brown hues. makes for a very rich color and looks great sans shields - i agree.

that colour combo on the FF is sensational...my own preference would be yellow calipers.
The grey varieties with the shades of tan interiors are beautiful. My wife's 430 is silverstone/ tan with yellow calipers and we get tons of compliments. I still really like TdF and Pozzi though....

I searched for ever when SPECing my 488. It was really hard finding god examples of the CDF color. Here are a few pics of it stock before I did a MATTE clear bra over the entire car, which I think looks absolute badd ###. However, Had I known I was going to matte it out. I would have gotten Grigio Silverstone and saved the money for the CDF paint cost increase. I have Grigio Silverstone on my Scud and love it. I am attaching a picture of the CDF 488 next to a Grigio Silverstone Ferrari. Hope these pics help show off the color. It looks different in every lighting situation.

Heres a video of wrap being installed to see the stock colort pretty well.
