I think the grimace was intended as a bit of disgust at having been forced into the spin in the first place and losing out to the Aston more that her struggling to control it (This is after all, a woman who doesn't like to be beaten! - Especially by a man!)

If you watch the clip closely, you see her (or the stunt driver in reality!), give a quick dab of the brake pedal mid spin in order to try to slow the spin, and as soon as it's realised that the car's going to go round again, the brakes are released to allow the next spin to be caught.

Based on the speed of the spin, the control of the car mid-spin and the recovery of the car to get back on the road, I'd say that demonstrates genuine skill rather than pure luck.

It's typical Bond nonsense at the end of day though. The reality is, a mediocre/reasonable driver in a 355 would simply smoke a DB5 on that sort of road, even if the DB5 was driven by Kimi/Vettel/Alonso or Hamilton! - The DB5 would run out of brakes for a start off! (is that why Bond does a handbrake stop? - The rest of the brakes were shot! Hmmmm..... ;) )

Well done! He wanted to pamper the car and not break the transmission / differential! :)
