I have a fully loaded Leo, and even several years ago I performed a Proxy alignment (612 ECU replacement). It was/is expensive. It does not do everything I have needed. Support has been okay for me. My Nick association is very appreciated as he has been helpful on several occasions ~ with what he can be helpful with. I was quite surprised when I found that the Maser Ghibli platform was not part of my fully loaded kit. I could not even reset a maintenance due light. I have been working with the German car programs too, logging lots of effort with that.
Every time I read through these threads, I can't believe that nobody has cloned an SD2. From what I understand it is fairly primitive. One of the software guys I have for my ECU tuning company is claiming that there is a solution coming that will cost less than $2K. When I get my hands on it, I will be testing it.
Im also amazed that there is no cheaper diagnostic system out there. There are so many doing DIY jobs on the 348 / 355 / 360 / 430...... Once they become reasonable I would be all over it. I need coverage for 360 / 430.
I can't recall what version I am on without looking at the screen. Does the 1.60.0+ offer something significant?
it the latest update so far , when was the last time you updated the leonardo , when you open up it should tell what version your on in the set menu mode
Thanks Terry, I missed the Pro version only being fully equipped. I read it that V2.0 was the same on both versions....wishful thinking! HNY......M Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Last time I updated I needed a function that did not exist in my then version ~ so I had hoped that the next update covered it. It did not however. That was some time ago & the last time I tried. I did just use the Leo to adjust a good customers PIS on his Maser Grand Sport. But I did not log into memory the version number, or even glance at it. And... I have not opened it up since. But I will soon as I am doing a 430 clutch replacement this week.

No need anymore. See http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/360-430-sponsored-yellow-compass-group/527803-f1-clutch-job-8.html
about pricing of a used leonardo, how much are YOU willing to pay? (includes 348, 355, 360, 430, 458, 456, 550, 575, 599, 612, F12, FF, Mondial, Testarosa, California, F50, Enzo, and pretty much all maserati as well , but there's no 488, nor f40. ) Am I low balling too much if I offer US $10,000?
TEXA. The super car package is very comprehensive, the the laptop based version is very reasonably priced. I bought the tablet and all, and its about twice the price.
Ahh, yes, I was referring to the post above. I wouldn't buy an Autel pro when there is now free software that can bleed, self learn, etc.
i got an offer for a used leonardo (from 308 to 458 , f12 and maserati) for $5000. it was originally purchased in 2015. do you guys think its a good deal?
I'm serious - if you don't want it, please let me know. If it all checks out, I would buy it right now.
