I am someone who will enjoy the car, though it will just be used for weekend country drives. No intention of ever tracking the car. No intention of ever selling it. I'm at that point in my life where my choices are rather final.

I'm sorry. I mixed the thread up. I didn't buy Sparta's car. I just thought someone was asking me if I was a flipper or not. I am still looking for a car.

    YES YES YES

I did not read article but if they will double this year I AM agreed!

Like I said the ded dog bounce will happen and we see them now howl at moon. Dow Janes at 20000 we know the drop was temporary. I guessing that we see 3x prices in 2 years. I must keep eyes open to grab a hold of the donkey tail as they say a donkey only haws twice a decade.

Why do you say that if you don't mind my asking? Though it was just as good as any other. Porsches there go for fortunes

The car was poorly presented, imo. And the photo quality didn't help it any. The silver looked dull and blah. Maybe that's just the way it is?

Anyway, BaT doesn't appear to be a good place to sell Ferrari's, I haven't seen one reach market value in a while there. Lots of tire kickers that nitpick every little detail, chime in with nonsense opinions, and most of them have never bid on a car on BaT.

BaT has asked me to list my 328 with them. I won't. I put my Porsche 930 there, a disappointing result. Again, mostly just tire kickers and low-ballers.

Oh...I remember a certain mechanic that worked on the 250 gto saying that he couldn't believe the prices...

" It was just an old racecar no one wanted"

    What's the price of a Dino, Daytona, 365, BB512?
Nope....the Testarossa is different. It'll never go up like those lol

My 91 Testarossa will always be worth less though.....I can't help but drive it ;)

I'm sure this has been said many times in the many pages I haven't read here, but the Testarossa's prices will continue to go up. It is the last mid-engine V12, one of the last 2 Ferrari V12's to have a manual transmission, the last flat 12, and it is the last (I believe) Fioravanti-designed production Ferrari. And, while there are a fair amount of them, unlike Dino's or Daytona's, there is far more demand than there was 10-20 years ago. If Daytona's are now $1mm or so, it is certainly not hard to see the Testarossa's at $4-500,000 in a few years with 512's selling at a 25-50% premium to that. (I seriously doubt that post-Fioravanti-era cars will ever see anything like this kind of appreciation.)

Yes! The people all remmeber 80s and we see dallas on tv now again.

Imagine all them buy what they saw now they are in there 60s-70s right? Demand up up up I am not surprised when TR hit $1M. Then children of them will want to buy more too.

I see no limits only blue skies now that prices are said to triple or double in 12 months.

I stand corrected and see they are maybe most 15-30% lower thgan $1m

I saw other cars maybe 30% lower what I saw in past but never phathomed that it would be Daytona too!

I seems to have put my hand in mouth then and apologise

They look like great bargins though and will sell yesterday if not today. Mustnt not something be wrong with them ???

I think I read your original post incorrectly. I thought you were saying they were nowhere near $1m.
I don't know what the exchange rate is but converted is close to 1m. So, my bad.

There was another thread on fb with some people lamenting that they could have bought a Countach for under 100k just a few years ago and now they're around 400k.
I say this is what they'll be saying about the Testarossa eventually....don't know when.
