You mean that nothing comes close to a LF or a 488?

Thanks for sharing. Great shots, especially the 1st one (in motion) is very spectacular.
Let's hope the incoming year will be full of good stuff here - as already seen in the latest posts.

Ok, good to have another opinion on the video. So ferrari has never claimed that they take some of their F1 tech and put it on the XX cars? The reason i ask is not only because of what he said, but also because I remember them saying that they actually use those as a test bed for their upcoming road cars.

Thank you to treynor and chalstrad for answering our questions about the FXX program! It really is fascinating to hear about the details of this program for someone who can only dream of a Ferrari. Your time is much appreciated, thank you!

Exactly what I was thinking. I was under the impression that you had to wait 2 years before selling and the purchase price includes 2 years anyhow....guess not, @chalstrad @treynor....insight???? Thanks gents

Yes, some cars have been delivered now for over 2 years! If the 2 year time is up you can sell it, also consider that the XX-K comes with 2 years of events included for the owner, if you sell it before these won't transfer to the new owner so kind of a waste!

I recall the contract asking for right of first refusal on sales for the first couple years, same as the other supercars. I didn't read it closely because I have no interest in selling ours in the next decade...

So, maybe there is a possibility after 2027 to let it go?!

    Ben,

What about insurance? is it included in the XX program fee? It does seem 'reasonable' when it breaks down to about $7k a day, all in (if no crash or failure).
How much does Ferrari charge to ship the XXs from Maranello to the US for example?

Thanks for the info and insider feedback! It's great to have actual data and not BS articles from journalists who have no idea.

Ive read that ferrari did some internal changes to the engine in the fxxk vs the base laferarri. Does anyone know and could they tell me how ferrari dynos its engines? Is it at the crank on or the wheels. Also, could the fxxk engine make its way to the F12 TDF replacement, as it is? Or would it be too expensive?

All manufacturers quote power, and subseqently torque, at the crank. The FXX-K has the same ICU as the FXX Evo. That set-up cannot be used in a road car as it lacks the catalytic converters and noise restrictors stipulated by the law.
