Thank you. I'm aware of the LBI, Shaheen, & Gunderson cars.
LBI & Sheehan cars would be a good bit of effort to get to my liking and Gunderson car is perfect. I'm searching for something in between.

I've been drooling over this one at Bruce Canepa...
    1972 Ferrari Dino 246 GT_5451

Marrone Metallizatto! And the car looks just about perfect. No affiliation with the seller, but I know you're looking for a very clean one.

I love those cars, these days not well sorted dino's are 300+K

In 1999 I had a chance to get a showroom condition one off my buddy for 85k

I dragged my feet and here I am lol

    Best of luck

I'd stay away from places like gullwing and Beverly hills car club if your looking for a fine example

Yeah I expected it would be a lot of coin...

    Stunning condition
    Rare colour
Complete recent service by Fast Cars
and Bruce isn't known for undercharging when he knows he's got the nuts!

Lol. But you'd be hard pressed to find a better example, I'll bet.

Have you considered contacting places like Fast Cars, Patrick Ottis, or other well known vintage Ferrari mechanics?

When I visited Fast Cars over the summer, they had several cars that were "technically for sale by owner" but hadn't been listed by the owners yet because they were still being worked on. They might also know of current Dino owners who are "thinking of selling", and could possibly put you in touch. Just an idea.

If I were in your spot (which I hope to be some day), considering your condition vs price range discussion from your other thread, I'd call some shops and ask for a ballpark price range on rust remediation on a 246. Take the average number, set that aside from your Dino budget, then buy the best Dino you can find for what remains of your budget and just plan on getting any needed work done once you own the car. Be faster than finding the perfect car (perfect for you, I mean), and then you get to control the process, and can stretch it over time somewhat if funds require that...and get to drive the Dino in between!

Yes, especially for an OMGJON restored car -- this was HAWKEYE's car that he started a thread back in September asking if he should sell. I wonder if he had it on consignment at MAG or if they actually owned it?

^Maybe I should say very fairly priced for the buyer not so great if you were the seller.... I think it was on the show room for quite some time with mid three asking then weekly drops until it became much more attractive
