    Yeah, it's fairly magnetic given its size.

    I bought a bunch of drone motor spares for my friend's munchkin and only recognized it when fjb said what it was.

    Given the strength of the magnets I would have to say they are Neodymium Iron Boron magnets. Because of that strength, the electric motors can be powerful but much smaller and lighter weight thus ideal for drones....

    Ha! Clever use of technology, too bad it is used to cheat. To be effective for an extended amount of time it would need to have the ability to regenerate battery power on the downhill runs... ;)
