Traded the 550.... Got the urge to try something new and got this F12. Am really happy with the car. Got same exterior color (Grigio Titanio) as the 550. The F12 has Cuoio interior.

The original owner specced black calipers. I'm thinking of painting them in Red or Yellow (or just leave them in Black?). Opinions welcomed...

Awesome! Personally, I would just leave the calipers alone. If you do decide paint them, I would go for yellow IMO.

Yes, South Bay store. I do miss the 550 which I enjoyed for 6 years. BUT... The F12 is something else. What power, performance and the sound! It ticked all the boxes for me..all the things I frivolously lusted after: Big CarboCeramic brakes, Large wheels, killer exhaust and those darn shields . Drivability wise, the F12 stimulates in a different way. I did enjoy the 550's stick shift but when I hear those instant gear changes in the F12, I find that more intoxicating than anything ever experienced in the 550. The 550 is a great car as well, but it was just time for me to move on.

    Thank you all!

Beautiful F12, I have had 2 GT cars, one with red calipers and one with black, the black looks the best in my opinion. Enjoy in good health

I know the original owner, a doctor who lives in my area. Beautiful car. He's got a nice collection and always takes immaculate care of his cars (and why the mileage was so low). I'd leave the calipers as they are.

I saw a 550 in the service area on Tuesday. I take it that's your car? It will be interesting to see what they list it at. Enjoy the new ride!

Yes, the Grigio 550 in the service bay would likely be the one. Prior owner of the F12 kept the car as new and I hope to do the same, so I will honor the good doctor's specification and leave the calipers un-modified. Thanks.

Great spec! The car will continue to impress as you drive. Love the silver wheels and black calipers as they are and would even think about changing if they were not.

Congratulations. A beautiful car in one of my favourite colours. I like yellow callipers too but silver and black work too. I would say do nothing now and decide after a few months of ownership.

The 550 is a beautiful car but the F12 is too and a technical tour de force. Keep us updated on your new journey.

Why don't you have it wrapped in Red and see if you want to permanently go red or change wraps on the calipers as you go along.

Very nice...would vote against changing the calipers, but all of this is so personal. If you did a color, the Cuoio interior dictates yellow to me. Do whatever makes you happy. In my case, I might consider powdercoating those wheels with the darker grey color option to toughen it up. Enjoy!

    This car is gorgeous!

Can we please have maybe one more exterior photo and definitely 2 interior photos of the cuoio?

My vote is for yellow calipers.

    Very clean nice car!

Would you consider a slightly different wheel color? Maybe a slightly darker silver color?
