If you like the spec then yes buy it because good specs are very rare on these cars. People make comments like huge price drops but it comes down to spec! It is really hard to find used cars that are rich in options. Ya its a great car, Ive done about 22,000KM. Some interior creaks and my CF side skirt was rattling. I mean it has noticeable body roll in turns but definitely elegant presence on the road. I wouldn't say daily driving is silky smooth but it can be quiet. I have an Italia as well and ya it probably a bit more fun if you like something to take out once in awhile. V12 noise unmatched though really outclasses the V8 and all engines on the road.
The "rosso" colors don't do the car justice IMO White is very classy but thinking of tdf blue for the F12M - both nero interior Image Unavailable, Please Login
Its funny - I really like white but it is not perceived as classy in the UK quite the opposite here is my blue one in case it helps. Lovely colour when clean.
Funny how we all fuss around our wives, being with guys on here and with not a financial care in the world you would think they would be compliant ! I would be if I had the "deal". If my wife brought in the money I would not dare to comment ! I would count my blessings !
I agree with you. I've been following for almost a year the F12 available in Europe and arrived to the following conclusion. Most cars take a very long time to sell, in general they are short in options and for my taste you see many combos that don't go with the car. When a car is put for sale in the Ferrari classic colors with a pretty combo and a complete pack of options, invariably they tend to be sold very quickly. The one I intend to buy is in this category and I'm aware that if I miss this opportunity I might have to wait a long time until another one is made available.
I am not a fan of white cars in general but i think the F12 looks really nice in white, especially pearl white.
Very good taste. Right now there is one combo like this reserved for me and I'll see her for the first time by the end of this week and will have to decide. I doubt that I will resist…….
>>> Given the state of affairs in the world, Eu elections coming up, terrorist events , wars and all the rest of it, buy the damn thing, drive it, enjoy it, and worry about the rest later... good luck
If it's a one of a kind, perfect spec, go for it I guess. As far as price goes, they'll always get cheaper and it would be maybe wise to wait for the F12M introduction to create more supply and push prices down further.
My approach on these purchases used to be to wait, I've changed approach since I realized that people who buy $300k cars also buy other stuff, like boats and houses, and that you can easily negotiate an extra $100k away on your other assets to make up for the 20% loss in value on your wheels ... just 2c
I bought my 2014 about a year ago and although the prices did dip afterwards by about 10%, the enjoyment that I've been getting out of my ownership experience far exceeds price fluctuations. Pull the trigger and enjoy your new toy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
In continental Europe where I've followed the availability of cars for quite sometime, last July 2016 the number of used F12 for sale was around 80 units and in January 2017 this number has already increased to almost 100 units. May be in the next months with the approaching of the F12M launch this number will increase further but my feeling is that we are close to a maximum of cars available. According to what I've heard in the past from a big German Ferrari dealer this type of cars strongest selling season in Europe starts normally around March and ends before summer and if the cars don't find a buyer during this period they might take a long time to sell. Therefore the final price that one can get on a normal F12 has also a lot to do with this seasonal factor because if a car is not sold during this optimum period dealers will tend to try to sell proposing a better price.
In the UK apart from seasonal demand it is all about colour and spec . The UK market is obviously smaller but some used cars don't even get advertised for sale. As i have shown previous interest in used F12 I have been contacted about several incoming cars by Ferrari dealers. Some of those cars have never subsequently been advertised and in general they have been the best specs and colours.
