That's right, Mick, way too long. Have you visited the Oldtimer GP lately? I haven't been there since we met last time. Just last year and this year I went there as a competitor, but not with the 308.

I'm crossing my fingers for a good end to this sad story.

    Best, Robert

Just saw the news item on AT5. Sad to hear your Ferrari got stolen. My Audi R8 was stolen about a month ago also from a underground parking under my appartment (as well as a RR evoque, a ducati diavel and an Audi A5 convertible) in Amsterdam.

With track & trace on the car we could see it go into a sea container at Kampen and from there on we've only seen it contact track and trace a few times in France, Spain, Gran canaria, and last time in Ivory Coast (!).

The car has resurfaced after she disappeared about 14 months ago. I found her being advertised for sale in a neighboring country yesterday. I went there today to positively identify the car, and notified my insurance company (formally the owner of the car) who called in the police to confiscate the car. What happens next? Who knows. But I'm glad I found her. That's all for now...thanks everybody for your moral support, really appreciate it!

They just sold one of those at the Scottsdale Auctions. I think it went for around $135us.

    CONGRATS hopefully!

I hope you get it back regardless of the insurance company "formally" being the owner. Its YOURS! And, with prices the way they are (at least here in the states), the replacement cost NOW is pretty dang high!

Fight to get it back!!! :)

How does the car look? Are you going to try to get it back?

Thats amazing but I also feel bad for the one selling it IF they are an innocent buyer and now they have nothing. That would suck more than you losing the car and getting a cheque.

First and foremost, it's great news to have your baby back.
I also wish that the Police could now track the thieves somehow, but that's another story...
