How could I forget about the clutch! I am sure you will love Davids car. He has a 360 Challenge (not CS, a real Challenge) which is street legal. We have to see (and hear) your car very soon, David!! Cheers Markus
Cheers mates! but - my 360CH is running with a standard exhaust, the original one is stored... as I like both, my car and my driving license ... ... looking forward to spring time! cu david
Thank you all for the warm welcome, guys. I really can't wait for the snow to melt and the salt to be off the streets and take my first Ferrari for its first spin. I've been lucky enough to get a car in great condition with only 24'000 km's. In my opinion, the 348 is great as is, there are only 2 minor "flaws" I see and will improve. First there is the exhaust sound which I find a little bit too "well behaved" in comparison to newer models. In addition to that I will add some spacers to both axes to make sure that the wheels fit a little better. Apart from that I totally agree with Leopard. I am looking forward to meeting some of you maybe on / for a cruise around town, I live in Zurich by the way.
I have plans to go I also sent an email to my dealer asking if they can get me an invite to the Ferrari stand. Not sure if just showing my cars keys is sufficient, contrary to when I was always able to enter the 'back stage' on the Mercedes/Audi stands simply by showing them the keys to my AMG/S... About ~10 years ago when I first tried a 360 and 550, the dealer later sent me tickets giving me access to the Ferrari stand. I had a sip of Champagne and leafed through some thick 'options' books there. Would be nice to repeat this experience again this year now that I have an F-car ;-)
Not sure if they let you in by just showing your keys. Usually there are lots lots of people before the Ferrari stand. You get a letter from your dealer that you have to show to get access to the stand. Markus
Yes, thats it. You get a ticket for the Geneva motor show and a letter that you have to show at the Ferrari stand. The letter is the important thing (not the ticket). Dont be surprise if the ticket and the letter arrive just a couple of days before the show begins. Mine usually arrive a week or even less before the show begins. Markus
Gruezi mitenand! I am new to Ferrari ownership having bought my first F car (a 612 GP Edition) in December. This is both the best and worst time to buy a Ferrari! I was itching to drive my new purchase but the snow was set in and didnt seem like it would shift anytime soon. However last week the weather came together and I managed to get my first proper drive on clean roads with a fellow FChatter and recent 612 owner (Swiss612). I hope to get the opportunity to meet and drive with some of you soon. I have attached a couple of pictures from our little outting. Very nice! - looking forward to meeting all new Fcar owners in spring - check with Elsi about our tours! david
Jeremy Congrats on your 612. Nice car(s)! As David mentioned we are a small club here called Ferrari Drivers Club (you will find more about us if you google our clubs name). Send me a PM (in German or English language) if you would like to know more about our small club and our monthly trips. Markus
Hi, thank you all for your warm reception and compliments. Would love to get involved with the Drivers Club so will drop Elsi a line. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
HI all, I am the other 612 on the pictures (argento) and I am just realising there is a swiss section on Fchat (shame on me) Your outings look great and I am certainly interested in joining, after the meltdown
Jeremy and Michel, hope to welcome you in the Drivers Club this year. We already have a pair of twins (Fchater William Tell's and mine 360 Spider), so a pair of 612 would be an excellent enrichment. Cheers! Martin
Thank you Martin, that is very kind. I have had a PM from Elsi and replied saying that I will try to make it to the meeting in March. Looking forward to meeting you all. Best Wishes, Jeremy Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Hello guys, It's been a while since our last trip to Stelvio Pass in August...amazing journey! We are organizing a 2 days trip to south of France and Route Napoleon all together in April, we are going to start from here in Ticino/Milan and heading down to Liguria, Cote d'Azur and Provence for the first day, the second day will be full Route Napoleon and back home. If you want to join please give me at least one week end where you will be able to be present in April and I will then update you when we will find a date that suits most of us. Spring will be soon here Cheers guys
